On the fence? Here's why you shouldn't wait to sell…

by Jeremy Mavis

According to John Burns Research & Consulting, only 11 percent of consumers are actively shopping for a home right now.

If you're a potential seller and you see this chart, you might be thinking—why should I sell now? Shouldn't I wait until mortgage rates go down?

It might seem like a fool-proof strategy, but no one can predict where mortgage rates are heading.

And sure, you might see that 11 percent and think it’s a drop in the bucket, but you can’t underestimate the power of a well-positioned home—especially when paired with an extensive marketing plan. There will always be buyers who are looking to change their living situation for any number of reasons—marriage, divorce, new jobs.

The best time to sell isn’t about some potential perfect time in the future, it's about strategically navigating the current market to maximize your home's value.

As always, we know everyone’s situation is different, but we’re here to help you navigate the complexities of the market.
